Teamwork makes the dream work, and crowdfunding dreams are no exception. The more people who focus on promoting the same campaign, the greater the social impact it will have, and the more money you’ll raise for the campaign. For users running personal campaigns or sub campaigns, we’ve added some very exciting new features to make it even easier to raise money as a team!
Strength in Numbers
So you want to get others to join in on the fundraising efforts. You have two options to grow your numbers. You can now invite your friends to join your team directly from your Members tab on your campaign and choose what role they’ll have before they even join, streamlining the process. You can also choose whether or not you want to allow visitors to join your team. If you choose to add the ‘Join Team’ button, visitors can submit a request to join the team, which you can approve or deny.
Let Your Team Flag Fly
Normally, the byline of your campaign only shows your name and picture. When you’re working as a team however, uniting under one banner can increase motivation and engage your members in the team mindset. That’s why we’ve made it so that if you choose to show your team identity, the byline will now show your team name and team picture instead. So choose your team name and upload your own team photo or flag and show it off.
Delegate and Conquer
When something needs to be done on your campaign and you need to get the word out to your team members quickly, you can now create and assign action items. We’ll send them an email notifying them of what needs to be done and where they can mark it as complete when they’ve finished the task.
Track Your Teammates’ Results
Whether you want to get a little competitive or just know who’s pulling their weight, contributions are now attributed to the team member who referred the contribution. When you can see who’s raising the most money, you can emulate their tactics to improve the entire team’s fundraising ability. Similarly, when you know who’s not raising much money, you can help those members out and give them tips and tricks to improve their performance. Alternatively, if you’re the competitive type you can use this feature to host an internal contest to see who can raise the most money for the cause.
