Set a Deadline to help you raise money faster!
FundRazr has introduced a new deadline feature! You can now set a specific end date to your campaign, either a date or a number of days. The number of days left in your campaign will be displayed prominently next to your campaign photo.
How will this help you raise more money?
A deadline creates a sense of urgency, motivating supporters to donate sooner rather than later. You will also receive a notification when your deadline is approaching, as a reminder to reach out to your supporters for the last few donations! It will NOT automatically stop your campaign or prevent you from keeping the money you raise.

Q: When should I select a certain date?
A: If you need funds for a scheduled event, scheduled or critical medical service, travel timing or some other time sensitive deadline.
Q: When should I select a specific number of days? How many days?
A: If you are not guided by a specific calendar date but still want to create urgency for donors via the countdown effect. The default is 50 days and we recommend selecting no shorter than 14 days.
Q: Do I have to set a deadline?
A: No. If you are uncertain on the specific date when you need funds, you can select “no deadline.” Make sure to add a story update explaining reason for no deadline.
Q: Can I change my deadline once my campaign is launched?
A: Yes, as long as you have not passed the deadline, you can change it at any time.
Q: What if I have already started a FundRazr?
A: If you have already started a campaign and you have NOT collected any donations, you can set a deadline on your Manage page. If you have already collected donations, you are not able to set a deadline.
Q: When the deadline has passed, will it stop my campaign?
A: No, it will NOT automatically stop your campaign or prevent you from keeping the money you raise.

You will also find a new place to update to your supporters. Keep them up to date with your fundraising progress with links to news articles, blogs, websites, Facebook pages, and more! Why update your story? See more here.
FundRazr Phases give you more control
Not Launched Phase: After you create your FundRazr page, you can edit and optimize your content before launching on www.FundRazr.com. This means your FundRazr will not be visible or searchable.
Launch Phase: Your FundRazr will appear in FundRazr find sections and is able to collect donations.
Pause Phase: You can also “Pause” your FundRazr at any time, which disables donation collection. You can restart any time.
Finish Phase: You can click “Finish” when you have reached your deadline and/or when you are done collecting donations.
